MARLEY D. FOXX BREIF BIO

Denisha Pearl Davis, a.k.a. Marley D. Foxx formally known as OutspoknMC,  born in Chester, PA. At the ripe age of 16 when most young girls were hanging out, Denisha began her musical career in the church. “She was always different”and With the guidance and inspiration of the choir director, the late Darrion Johnson, she was able to grow in the church choir and soon became a lead singer of the choir, later becoming the director of the choir as well as the praise and worship team. 
Although she began her musical career in church where she was influenced by Kim Burrell and The Clark Sisters, she had various secular music influences such as; Lauren Hill, The Brat, MC Lyte, Brandy and Queen Latifah.  After listening to numerous songs she fell in love with the skills and ability to convey her message in a different way through Emceeing,  As well as her musical development that came from her church experience, Marley took the initiative to take up courses and workshops in music theory to become more knowledgeable and develop her talent further.  
Currently, Marley has taken the passion put in all her poems that she has written since she was 12 and transferred them into songs and verses. She works diligently networking with other talented underground artists and has been featured in other local artists songs. Marley has also taken part in mixtapes and compilation albums which circulate locally. She's part of the Clas-sick Joint Production Independent Label and family where Chawz Chill is the CEO.
